        NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE – KOENIG & BAUER BANKNOTE SOLUTIONS


                                  Super Orlof Intaglio III Press Suction Drum Replacement Parts


The Treasury Common Services Center, Acquisition Services on behalf of the Office of Production intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed-price contract to purchase replacement suction roller assemblies utilizing a Justification and Approval in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5. The intended contractor is Koenig & Bauer Banknote Solutions.


This procurement is for the purchase of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) replacement suction roller assemblies and associated mechanical components for the Super Orlof Intaglio III Presses used by Bureau of Engraving and Printing for currency manufacturing.


This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive offers/quotes/proposals. A determination not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any cost associated with the preparation and submission of data or information, or any other costs incurred in responding to this notice is the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
