Superpave Gyratory Compactor with Parts, Accessories, and Installation for the Lubbock District

The Texas Department of Transportation is soliciting bids for the procurement, installation, calibration, and training for a Superpave Gyratory Compactor to be located at the Lubbock District Laboratory Office. The scope of work includes the delivery of a fully operational compactor system equipped with an integrated extruder, a data acquisition system, and various accessories such as mold assemblies, load rings, and calibration tools. The vendor is required to provide a factory-trained technician with at least three years of experience to conduct a minimum of two hours of on-site training. All equipment must adhere to strict technical specifications, including ANSI Z535.4 safety labeling and ANSI B 46.1 surface smoothness standards, and must be covered by a warranty of 12 months or 1,200 operating hours. Responses must be submitted electronically via the Bonfire portal by August 19, 2025. To be deemed responsive, bidders must provide a pricing schedule in Excel format, a signed Execution of Bid form, a Texas Family Code certification, and proof of insurance meeting minimum liability limits for general liability, automobile, and workers compensation. Additionally, vendors must disclose personnel qualifications and ensure that any staff visiting TxDOT sites meet specific driver qualification standards. Award will be based on the lowest price and the ability to meet all technical and compliance requirements.
