This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13.5. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 1204N720Q0032 and is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). This is a small business set-aside with an associated NAICS code of 332312. The small business size standard is 500 employees. This solicitation is for a firm- fixed price contract. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2020-5. Destination This solicitation consists of the supply of a 60 span pre-fabricated steel I-beam trail bridge. Work includes design, fabrication and delivery of the bridge, including superstructure and log railing/posts. A load rating for the bridge superstructure shall also be provided. Deliver the bridge approx 4.9 miles northeast of the Mckenzie River Ranger Station off of Hwy 126 at Lat 44.204136, Long -122.039003. Required Delivery Schedule: All required work shall be completed from date of award to estimated delivery date is: No later than September 30, 2020; however, the contractor shall coordinate the exact delivery date and time with the Contracting Officers Representative. Packaging and Marking: Commercial: Package components for bridges separately or in a manner that provides clear differentiation of all components fabricated for each individual bridge. Material shall be packed for shipment in such a manner that will insure acceptance by common carrier and safe delivery at destination. Containers and closures shall comply with the Interstate Commerce Commission and Regulations, Uniform Freight Classification Rules, or Regulations of other carriers as applicable to the mode of transportation.
