Supply and Install Exterior Wall Insulation and Cladding at Norwich Arena

The Township of Norwich has issued Request for Tender TENDER-PF-2026-02 for the supply and installation of exterior wall insulation and cladding on the west wall of the Norwich Arena, located at 53 Stover Street South, Norwich, Ontario. The scope of work covers approximately 218 feet and 4 inches of the west elevation and includes the installation of a fluid-applied membrane, 5 inch Rockwall Comfortboard, Z Girt brackets, and Box Rib Cladding, as per engineered plans. The contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, and scaffolding. The anticipated start date for the contract is October 26, 2026, and the successful bidder will be required to enter into a CCDC-2 2020 agreement. Bids must be submitted electronically by October 2, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. EST. Required submission documents include a schedule of prices, bidder information, proof of ability and references, senior staff qualifications, a proposed work schedule, a domestic supply chain plan, and a list of subcontractors. Evaluation will be based on compliance with specifications, contractor experience, and performance records. Award selection may be subject to Council approval and budgetary restrictions. The successful contractor must provide a Harmonized Sales Tax registration number and maintain comprehensive insurance, including 5 million dollars in Commercial General Liability, 2 million dollars in Automobile Liability, and Builder's Risk insurance at 1.1 times the contract price. Additionally, the contractor must provide a WSIB Clearance Certificate and comply with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act. All work is warrantied for twelve months from the date of acceptance, during which the contractor must remedy any defects resulting from faulty materials or workmanship.
