56--Supply Metal Shaker Roof System, Lava Beds N.M.

The National Park Service, through the Department of the Interior and specifically the Lava Beds National Monument, is seeking a fire-resistant metal shake roof system to replace the historic cedar shake roof on House #40, the Superintendent’s Residence, a designated historic structure. The scope requires the supply and delivery of a 24-ga coated steel metal shake panel system, Class A synthetic underlayment, flashing, ridge caps, trim metal, and 5/8" exterior-grade plywood sheathing, all designed to replicate the appearance, texture, profile, and color of the original cedar shake while meeting current Class A fire safety standards per ASTM E108 and local building codes. The roofing system must have a minimum service life of 40 to 50 years and comply with historic preservation guidelines to maintain the structure’s architectural integrity. This is a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 332322 with a size standard of 500 employees, open to small businesses, HUBZone small businesses, and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, and incorporates the Buy American Act and other compliance requirements including prohibitions on trafficking, Iran-related activities, and internal confidentiality agreements. The award will be made on a best-value basis, considering price, technical acceptability, delivery lead time after receipt of order, and past performance, with submissions required via email in PDF format no later than July 10, 2026, at 1600 PD. Only vendors with an active SAM registration and a valid Unique Entity Identifier are eligible, and quotes must include the solicitation number, company details, UEI in SF-1449 Block 17, and be submitted as a lump sum. Delivery is FOB destination at Tule Lake, California, with performance expected between July 20 and August 20, 2026. Invoicing must be submitted electronically through the Treasury’s IPP platform with the vendor’s business invoice attached; failure to comply will result in rejection.
