Supply New Waste Compactors and InstallationThis requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, Atlantic InstitutionTrade agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) and Canada free trade agreements with Chile/Colombia/Honduras/Panama.Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid.Competitive Procurement Strategy: lowest priced compliant bid.Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Indigenous Suppliers.Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement.Security Requirements: This contract does not include security requirements.Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to supply and install two (2) new compactors, with hydraulic pumps and controls and one (1) receiver bin to its existing location. The main compactor is past its life cycle and is continuously breaking down; the frame is rotten and needs replacing at the soonest. Atlantic Institution needs a second complete compactor comprising of both the compactor and the receiver bin for the cardboard to be recycled.Objectives: To have two compactors, with hydraulic pumps and controls, and one receiver bin supplied and installed at the same location outside the waste recycling loading door. The Contractor must also dispose the current compactor.Deliverables: The Contractor must supply all parts and labour for the installation of both compactors and receiver bin, freight and disposal fees.
