Supply of Vehicles 2026

The Town of Tecumseh is soliciting bids from qualified and certified dealers for the supply and delivery of various vehicles for 2026. The procurement is governed by a two-stage evaluation process where the award is granted to the tender with the best price, provided all technical requirements and specifications are met. Deliveries are to be made FOB to 1189 Lacasse Boulevard, Tecumseh, Ontario. All vehicles must comply with the Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Act, Ontario pollution emissions controls, and O.S.H.A and A.N.S.I safety labeling requirements. A signed manufacturer's warranty for five years or 100,000km is required for all supplied vehicles. A critical component of this solicitation is compliance with the Buy Ontario Act (Public Sector Procurement), 2025. Bidders must submit a mandatory declaration form certifying whether vehicles are Made-in-Ontario or procured from an Ontario Vehicle Producer. Submissions must be uploaded via the Bids and Tenders portal by 2:00 PM EST on October 8, 2026, and must remain irrevocable for 45 calendar days. The successful proponent will be required to provide a Health and Safety Policy and a Certificate of Liability Insurance with a minimum limit of 2,000,000 dollars per occurrence before commencing work.
