The Naval Air Warfare Center- Aircraft Division (NAWC-AD) intends to issue a firm fixed price type delivery order against the Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N68335-10-G-0020 to Sikorsky Aircraft of Stratford, CT on a sole source basis. The contract will provide for a quantity Qty of 6 each MER Mounting Plate Alignment Tool, P/N: 71204-22010-855T046 NSN 5120-01-623-6498, Qty 240 each Swashplate Expandable pin Tool, P/N: 70700-77395-101 NSN 5120-01-623-6499, and Qty 30 each Installation Kit, Pilot Bearing Tail Rotor, P/N: 70700-77397-041 4920-LL-ERG-4066, in support of the H-60 US Navy Program. This item is needed to support organic level repair of the H-60 aircraft. Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC) (Cage code 78286) is the sole owner of the proprietary data necessary to manufacture these pieces of support equipment. SAC is the only company with the required experience and technical data to provide these items. The US Navy does not possess the technical data necessary to compete this procurement. SAC is the only source that can provide the above supplies and no other supplies will satisfy the program requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any capability statements received within thirty days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
