Full Description

Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center San Diego (SPAWARSYSCEN SAN DIEGO)intends to award a Cost Plus Fixed Fee completion type contract on a SoleSource basis to SAIC, 10260 Campus Point Drive, San Diego, CA. Authority forother than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1,Only One Responsible Source and no other supplies or services will satisfyagency requirements. The requirement is for an eight month period to provideenvironmental expertise in water quality modeling as well as additionaliterations of the Environmental Impact Statement to support the U. S. Navy,Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego (SSC-SD), BiosciencesDivision, in assessing and performing environmental planning for a proposal toinstall and operate a Swimmer Interdiction Security System at Naval Base Kitsap(NBK) Bangor. This notice of intent is not a request for competitiveproposals. However, all interest and capability statements received within 10days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by theGovernment. The NAICS Code is 541330. A determination by the Government notto compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretionof the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely forthe purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
