AI Contract Overview
This contract pertains to the procurement of five units of a technical item described as "SWITCH, PUSH" under solicitation number SPE7M2-26-T-3670, issued by the Department of Defense's Nuclear Reactor Program. The delivery is scheduled for 85 days from the award date, with the place of performance specified as New Cumberland. The purchase request number is 0091902937. The contract is under the NAICS code 334419, which relates to electronic component manufacturing. The primary point of contact for this solicitation is Alisha Blanton, who can be reached via email or phone. A critical aspect of this contract is the handling of export-controlled technical data governed by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Export or disclosure of this data to foreign nationals, whether in the U.S. or abroad, requires prior authorization from the Department of State or Commerce. The Defense Logistics Agency restricts access to contractors possessing a Joint Certification Program (JCP) certification, who have completed specialized training on handling DOD export-controlled data, and have been approved by the controlling authority. This ensures tight control over sensitive technical information associated with this procurement.
