Solicitation SPE7M8-26-T-6688 is a request for quotations issued by the Department of Defense, specifically the DLA Land and Maritime Electrical Devices Division, for the procurement of one sensitive switch, identified by NSN 5930-01-372-8084. This requirement is designated for a Foreign Military Sales case for Turkey. Quotes must be submitted via the DIBBS portal by September 28, 2026. The delivery is required within 20 days after the order date, with shipping terms set as FOB Origin and the freight forwarder designated as A.J. Worldwide Services Inc. in Secaucus, New Jersey. The contract mandates strict adherence to technical and quality requirements via the DLA Master List, including the prohibition of Class I ozone-depleting chemicals and compliance with MIL-DTL-28786 for packaging and MIL-STD-129 for marking. Because the item contains technical data subject to ITAR or EAR export controls, contractors must have approved US/Canada Joint Certification Program certification and completed required DLA export-control training. Inspection and acceptance will occur at the origin, utilizing zero-based sampling plans such as MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331. Administrative requirements include the use of the Wide Area WorkFlow system for electronic invoicing and payment. The solicitation incorporates various FAR and DFARS clauses, including the Buy American and Balance of Payments Program, the Berry Amendment, and NIST SP 800-171 cybersecurity assessment requirements. Offerors must also comply with representations regarding telecommunications equipment and the safeguarding of covered defense information.
