The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island intends to award a Sole Source Contract to Amentum Services Inc. in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1; only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements when it is likely that award to any other source would result in (A) Substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition, and (B) Unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements. This notice is intended for subcontracting opportunities only, it is not a request for competitive proposals. The proposed contract will result in a 12 month extension, with one six month option period, of the EAGLE Army Prepositioned Stocks - 5 contract W52P1J-12-G-0028/0003 to extend services until the competitive follow-on contract is awarded and transition is complete.
