The 319th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a request for proposal (RFP) FA4659-21-R-0002 for a commercial service of Fire Protection and Emergency Services at Cavalier Air Force Station (CAFS), North Dakota. The contractor is to furnish all labor, tools, equipment, materials (other than those specified as furnished by the Government), and supervision necessary to perform Fire Protection and Emergency Services on a 24- hour 7 days a week basis, and in accordance with the performance work statement. A formal solicitation will be issued on or around 7 April 2021. The solicitation will result in a single, firm-fixed price contract. The contract will be awarded with a base period of 1 November 2021- 31 October 2022, with four, twelve (12) month option periods to follow. The total period of performance, given all options exercised, will be 1 November 2021- 31 October 2026. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561990, All Other Support Services, and the small business size standard is $12M. This acquisition will be solicited as a total small business set-aside. The requirement is subject to a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) in conjunction with the International Association of Firefighters, Local I-18. A formal RFP will be issued via beta.sam.gov.
