Solicitation for Door, Aircraft

The government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for six aircraft doors (NSN 1560-01-582-6079, P/N 70207-52701-041) designed for the UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter. This is a one-time procurement requiring First Article Testing (FAT), with an expected production lead time of 720 days after contract award. The delivery will be FOB Destination, and the items are non-commercial, meaning FAR Part 12 procedures will not apply. Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation is the sole source capable of providing these doors due to proprietary rights and access to necessary technical data; the government does not possess sufficient data rights to source from other vendors. Therefore, the solicitation will be issued as a sole source procurement, and interested contractors with access to the proprietary data must submit a capabilities statement demonstrating authorization from Sikorsky to utilize the data.
