Attached is a synopsis for the C-21 CLS extension effort to the existing C-21 contract (FA8106-05-C-0001). Please note this is a sole source effort, the applicable J&A will be posted at a later date. The Air Force plans to negotiate with only ONE source. The applicable solicitation for this scope of work was FA810604R0003, the resulting contract from this solicitation was FA8106-05-C-0001. The Air Force intends to extend the contract through the use of the "Option to Extend Services" FAR 52-217-8 to this contract as a sole source effort. All terms and conditions for this addition will be in accordance with the contract FA8106-05-C-0001 awarded on 26 Jan 05. Current contract performance is through 30 Sep 13 and will be extended through 31 Dec 13. The purpose of this synopsis is to synopsize the "Option to Extend Services" of six months that was not previously included in the original and extension effort contract synopses for contract FA8106-05-C-0001. This does not impact the competitive acquisition for the C-21 CLS contract which is being solicited under FA810611R0011.
