Synopsis FA8520-16-Q-01156 THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. ANTICIPATED RELEASE OF RFQ. THIS ACQUISTION WILL BE A BASIC ORDER FOR A ONE TIME BUY FIRM- FIXED PRICE FOR THE FOLLOWING: This effort is for the purchase of data rights to the repair drawings necessary for erosive repair of the BRU-44 B/A Gas Generator, NSN: 1095-01-511-0577GG/ Part Number: 6127636 . The BRU-44 B/A Bomb Release Unit Gas Generator is the pressure chamber that channels the pressure created by firing the impulse cartridges, ejecting bombs from the bomb bay of the B-2 Bomber Aircraft. This requirement is sole source to: Chemring Energetic Devices (CED), Cage Code 93455, 2525 Curtis St., Downers Grove, IL 60515. Authority: 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source, and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The drawing/documents shall be delivered on digital media (CD or DVD) in a format acceptable/viewable by the Government Robins AFB, Ga. Solicitation is expected to be issued on or around 24 August 2016. Delivery is 30 calendar days after effective date of funded order. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement or proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The RFP will NOT be posted at www.fedbizopps.gov.
