Full Description

55th CONS/PKT, Offutt AFB, NE, intends to increase the ceiling amount of Contract FA4600-14-D-0004, Systems Engineering, Management and Sustainment (SEMS) III for Air Force Weather Systems on a sole source basis, using an authority under FAR 6.302-1. The ceiling increase will permit the continuation of services to sustain 557th Weather Wing Strategic Center systems and to complete system upgrades to achieve the architecture goal of supporting warfighter net-centric operations. In addition, the services cover Strategic Center Sustainment Services, Enterprise/Exploitation Weather Services, Space Weather Analysis and Forecasting System (SWAFS) Sustainment, other 557th WW research and development projects, and equipment acquisition projects. This increase is needed for the remaining Period of Performance on the contract including FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services clause through 31 January 2020. The Government intends to increase the ceiling value from the current $300,000,000 to $393,000,000. This is neither a request for a competitive proposal nor a solicitation for offerors. A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement is based on responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice should not be construed as a commitment by the Government. If your company can provide full performance starting O/A 1 February 2019, provide a capability package to the Contracting Officer by the response date of 12 December 2018.
