The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate and award the T-45 Aircraft Service Life Extension Program (SLEP) Phase 1B as a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) delivery order under the Basic Ordering Agreement, N00019-11-G-0001 to The Boeing Company, 6200 J S McDonnell Blvd, St. Louis, Missouri 63134, on a sole source basis under authority of FAR 6.302. The period of performance will contain a one-year base and three one-year options. Activities to be conducted for this effort are Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE), certification testing, manufacturing of prototype kits, and engineering oversight of verification and validation installations of the T-45 airframe Service Life Extension Program packages.
