The project involves the installation of two new illuminated wall signs, each measuring 15.3 square feet and displaying “T Mobile Authorized Retailer” in channel letters, at 3027 West San Fernando Road in Los Angeles, California, along with the removal of existing T-Mobile wall signage and the refacing of a portion of an existing double-sided pole sign. The pole sign refacing will cover 12.47 square feet per side, totaling 24.94 square feet, with no other tenants’ signage affected and no structural modifications to the pole or building permitted. The total new signage area of 30.6 square feet is within the allowable limit of 100 square feet for the 50-foot lot frontage as defined by Fletcher Square CDO regulations. The project is classified under CEQA Class 11 Categorical Exemption for minor accessory structures and on-premise signs, ensuring compliance with local zoning codes, including the Los Angeles Municipal Code and Resource Conservation Measures for noise, stormwater, and aesthetic standards. No additional square footage is added to the existing one-story commercial building, and the signage will be installed in compliance with all applicable environmental and land use requirements without triggering environmental thresholds. The work is coordinated by Scott Mallon of United Wireless / PS Southern CA One, INC, with permitting support from Kasey Clark of AKC Permit Inc., and overseen by the City of Los Angeles Department of City Planning for approval and acceptance. No federal contract clauses, pricing data, payment terms, delivery schedules, or procurement-specific information are included, as this is an environmental compliance notice for a minor commercial signage update under local regulatory authority rather than a formal federal acquisition contract.

Full Description

The subject site is located at 3027 West San Fernando Road (3017 West San Fernando Road). The proposed project is the installation of two (2) new illuminated wall signs on an existing one-story commercial building: Sign 1 consisting of channel letters that read “T Mobile Authorized Retailer” and total 15.3 square feet, and Sign 2 consisting of channel letters that read “T Mobile Authorized Retailer” and total 15.3 square feet. The Project also involves the removal of existing T-Mobile wall signage and refacing an existing double-sided multi-tenant pole sign only for one tenant (T-Mobile). The existing T Mobile signage on both sides of the pole sign will be replaced with updated T Mobile signage in the same location. No structural changes will be made to the pole sign, which will not be altered for location or size. No additional square footage is proposed for the existing building, which will be maintained as is. • Sign 1 is an illuminated wall identification sign consisting of channel letters that read “T Mobile Authorized Retailer”. The sign totals 15.3 square feet (2’ X 7’8”). • Sign 2 is an illuminated wall identification sign consisting of channel letters that read “T Mobile Authorized Retailer”. The sign totals 15.3 square feet (2’ X 7’8”). The existing lot frontage is approximately 50 feet, which allows 100 square feet for wall signs, based on the allowed 2 square feet for each one foot of lot frontage, per the Fletcher Square CDO regulations (Standard 26a: Wall Signs: (Q-Condition F-1). As the total signage encompasses approximately 30.6 square feet of signage, the Project does not exceed what is allowed. A portion of an existing double-sided, multi-tenant pole sign will also be refaced. The pole sign has an approximate total sign area of 179.16 square feet for both sides, or approximately 89.58 square feet per side. The area to be refaced for the new T-Mobile sign shall be limited to 12.47 square feet per side, or 24.94 square feet for both sides. No other tenant signs will be refaced.
