3/25/2013 Industry Day Notification (RFI: T1A Aircraft Sustainment) The T1A Program will conduct an Industry Day on 9-10 May 2013. This Industry Day Notification is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation, nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Any resulting procurement action will be the subject of a separate, future announcement. The following information is provided for discussion purposes and any potential strategy for this acquisition may change prior to any solicitation release. Description of services Please reference RFI FA8106-13-N-0001 Industry Day Details Industry Day will be held at the Mid America Business Park Conference Room 8001 Mid America Blvd. Oklahoma City, OK 73135 on 9 May 2013 from 0800 to 1100. "One-on-One" Contractor/Government sessions are offered from 1200 to 1600, and on 10 May 2013 from 0800 to 1600 if necessary. The "One-on-One" Contractor/Government sessions will be limited to one (1) hour sessions. During the main/morning session the government will provide briefing on requirements description and expectations. Requests for attendance and for "one-on-one" scheduling must be sent to the Contracting Officer (See below contact information). Industry Day Registration There will be no registration; doors will open at 0800 CST, 9 May 2013. This is a no-fee event. The USG will not provide any compensation for travel, or any other costs associated with the attendance to or from this informational meeting. This is an UNCLASSIFIED event; no clearances are required. Information presented at the event will be made available to offerors unable to attend via the FedBizOpps website. The Government will conduct one hour "One-on-One" Contractor/Government sessions to discuss issues or suggestions that are of a proprietary nature. If you desire a side board, please send the Contracting Officer an email no later than 30 April 2013 and he will schedule your time/date. Notice All costs incurred to attend are the responsibility of the attendee. This Industry Day is for the government to provide information to interested parties and to receive feedback from interested parties to facilitate further market research. The Government will not incur cost for this event. The Government will not pay for information provided or for travel cost to attend this event. This is not a solicitation but a request for information/interest. Any information and attendance request submitted by respondents to this Industry Day notification is strictly voluntary. This Industry Day notification does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bids (IFB), nor does its issuance restrict the Government's ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will neither award a contract solely on the basis of this notice, nor pay for any information that is submitted by respondents to this RFI.
