This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has a requirement for TACLANE encryption devices. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a request-for-quote (RFQ) for the TACLANE encryption device items referenced in the chart below: Description of item Quantity Required TACLANE TRADE-IN FOR TACLANE 1G (MULTI MODE) 6 AGILE VLAN/HAIPE SOFTWARE LICENSE (TACLANE -1G 6 TACLANE MINI TRADE-IN FOR TACLANE MICRO 5 The Government intends to award a single, sole-source, firm-fixed price purchase order to General Dynamics C4 Systems Inc - the only manufacturer of the Taclane 1G and the Taclane Micro. THIS IS A BRAND NAME ONLY REQUIREMENT. A Limited Source Justification is attached. All applicable provisions and clauses, including FAR clauses 52.212-3, 52.212-4 and 52.212-5 are listed in Attachment 1. All sources shall submit a completed copy of the provision 52.212-3. All sources shall submit a quotation which will be evaluated. Evaluation factors other than price include: Delivery - providing the products and all the quantities referenced above. Offerors' shall also provide an estimated lead-time for the requested supplies which will also be evaluated. Award will be based on technically acceptable/lowest price - for an offeror to be considered technically acceptable, it shall meet the delivery requirement referenced above.
