Full Description

The United States District Courthouse is located at the historic Tacoma Union Station (TUS), in Tacoma, WA, which originally opened in 1911. The courthouse addition, which opened in 1992, included the addition of new double pane storm windows and security film on the North end of the rotunda. Some of these windows, now twenty four years old, are beginning to fail at the rubber seals and need to be replaced. The contractor shall provide the labor, material, and equipment necessary to replace four double pane windows on the North side of the Pacific Avenue level near the US Court's security checkpoint (see attached drawing). Includes the removal of the exterior cladding/siding, as necessary in order to remove the existing window, removal of the existing window, installation of a new window (match existing), installation of security film (match existing) if applicable, and reinstallation of cladding/siding to original condition, and all temporary structures/measures necessary to endure protection of the building and its occupants during the process.
