The purpose of this Project is to replace a failing bulkhead wall, remove an existing boat launch ramp and boatlift, install a new boat launch ramp and boat lift, realign an existing dock, and install two new gangways and their associated landings and piles at the Tahoe Keys Marina, located on a lagoon tributary to Lake Tahoe. The Tahoe Keys Marina was built decades ago, and the infrastructure is deteriorating and does not meet modern safety and accessibility standards. The existing bulkhead wall shows signs of erosion and structural compromise which pose a threat to water quality. The locations of the existing boat launch and lift pose logistical and safety issues, and the gangways and associated landings are not compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
