Full Description

The Government has a requirement for 109 x Leased Non-Tactical Vehicles with maintenance at Camp Taji, Iraq. The resultant contract contains a basic period of 12 months; two 12 month option periods for issuance of a total 36 month strategy on a purchase order. The contract line items (CLINs) that are being included on this effort are as follows: non-tactical vehicles (48 x mid-size SUVs, 25 x full-size SUVs, 28 x small crew cab trucks, and 8 x 25 passenger mini-busses) with routine and emergency maintenance and Defense Base Act (DBA) insurance. The contract type is Firm Fixed Price (FFP). The sole source contractor is SOS International LLC, Reston VA, Cage code 6QG06. The Government awarded this contract on a sole source basis under authority 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented by FAR Subpart 13.5 exclusive licensing agreements. Due to the exclusive land use agreement (LUA) between the Government of Iraq (GOI) and SOS International LLC (SOSi) to occupy the green zone at Camp Taji, Iraq., SOSi is the only firm capable of meeting the Army's requirement.
