Tamano Irrigation Pipe (Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. YOL-68197-R2)

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number YOL-68197-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Jane Tamano. The project is limited to the replacement of the existing portions of the steel pipe, which has a 156-foot by 14-inch section and a 24-foot by 12-inch section up and over the levee, with a 14-inch pipe. The existing siphon breaker on the landside hinge will also be replaced in-kind. A positive closure device on the waterside hinge will be installed to meet the current standard. The existing cutoff wall will be removed in its entirety to also meet current standards. The required soil compaction and pipe leakage testing will be performed. The Project also includes the diversion of water from the Sacramento River for irrigation.
