The City of Los Angeles Mayor's Office of Public Safety is soliciting proposals for the design, installation, and commissioning of an IP-based video surveillance system at the C. Erwin Piper Technical Center. Funded by the FY2024 UASI Grant with a fixed-price budget not to exceed 400,000 dollars, the project requires the installation of at least 26 high-resolution IP cameras, including P3738-PLE and Q6088-E PTZ models. The technical scope includes deploying a Genetec Security Center VMS platform, high-performance Dell recording servers, and workstations, supported by Category 6 plenum-rated cabling and a hybrid copper/fiber network backbone. Key performance requirements include AI-based perimeter detection and a minimum of one year of continuous 24/7 video retention at 30fps and full resolution. The performance period begins upon contract execution and ends on January 31, 2027.
