As part of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD), the Information and Management Bureau (SID) provides overall Information Management and Information Technology (IM/IT) planning, day-to-day operations, and support services to DFATD clients, both domestically and internationally. SIS supports employees in over 170 missions (Embassies, High Commissions, Trade Offices, Consulates, etc.), in over 100 countries around the globe.
Within the National Capital Region (NCR), the National IT Support Team (SISN) provides IT Support to clients that include, DFATD employees, DFATD students/contractors, other Government Departments employees, using the DFATD’s computer network.
The requirement is for client-focused resources who can provide IM/IT support over the telephone, in tickets (Service Requests and Incidents), by email, in person, and using Microsoft Teams. They will support DFATD’s clients, including DFATD employees, contractors and our partners and co-locators with network accounts, working from home or from a DFATD location in Canada.
DFATD will be awarding up to three (3) contracts for a total of 22 resources combined. Upon contract award, all twenty-two (22) resources will be required within two (2) weeks of contract award.
