Solicitation FA822822R0004 is a total small business set-aside award issued by the Department of Defense for the procurement of Test Adapter Unit (TAU) machined parts. The required hardware includes a variety of precision components such as capacitor cover plates, support braces, modified standoffs, relay mounting brackets, adhesive preforms, and test set case assemblies. The procurement is governed by a Firm Fixed Price contract and requires strict adherence to technical specifications, including MIL-STD-130 marking instructions and MIL-DTL-5541 Class A1 chemical conversion coatings. Contractors must comply with ISO9001 or ANSI certification standards and ITAR regulations. The solicitation process included multiple amendments to clarify environmental testing requirements and extend submission deadlines to September 13, 2022.
