Description of Work: The Department of Foreign Affairs Trade and Development Canada (DFATD) has identified a requirement for multiple Application/Software Architects Level 3 with a Secret clearance to provide support for the Grants and Contributions Transformation Initiative (GCTI) DFATD is trying to build a pool of resources that have experience in the conceptualization, implementation, improvement and deployment of MS Dynamics 365 Online and Power Platform capabilities in a cloud environment. The intent is to leverage the resources in the RFP and deploy them directly to the technical team to support the implementation of client requirements in the core Grants and Contributions future state product. DFATD aims to streamline and accelerate the Department’s funding and reporting procedures to reduce administrative burden on funding recipients, be more responsive and predictable to ensure greater effectiveness, transparency, and accountability. The Department also aims improve its information management and reporting on outcomes to better demonstrate its results from the programs that Canada is funding and that there is value in Canada’s investments. The Department aims to achieve this thru the development of a partner centric portal that will improve the critical engagement with partners to facilitate better outcomes. A Gs&Cs wide platform solution will significantly increase the Department's capacity for analytics, knowledge management, results-based management, reporting and reduce the technical debt involved in maintaining systems close to obsolescence.
