As tasked by the CDS, CJOC is responsible for managing and implementing the CDMN framework, in parallel with the NATO-lead coalition implementation of the FMN framework, and the United States implementation of the MPE framework. Additionally, the CDS has designated CJOC as the OA for COMN, which is the resultant Information Technology system. COMN is a C2 system based on the legacy LCSS Headquarters. It seeks to be the next generation C2 system, replacing the CA’s LCSS, the RCN’s MCOIN, and the RCAF’s AFTAC with a system that is fully interoperable across the joint force and with Canada’s allies and mission partners. To support this effort, the CJOC J6 CI Section requires the services of one (1) Platform Analyst, and two (2) Technology Architects. It is important to note that CJOC military staff remain the authority on operational requirements.
