TDPUD 2026 Electric Master Plan Initial Study and Appendix G Checklist

The District has prepared the 2026 Electric System Master Plan to guide the planning, operation, maintenance, modernization, and improvement of the District's electric distribution system. The Master Plan was prepared pursuant to District Code Section 7.45 and serves as both a technical assessment of existing and future system conditions and a strategic roadmap for maintaining safe, reliable, affordable, and environmentally responsible electric service within the District's service territory. The Master Plan incorporates updated electric system modeling, findings from the District's 2024 Integrated Resource Plan, lessons learned from the 2019 Master Plan, anticipated community growth, regulatory requirements, and contingency planning for emergency and maintenance conditions. The Master Plan evaluates the District's electric distribution system over a five-year planning horizon from 2026 through 2030 and is intended to be updated on a recurring five-year cycle.
