The items are 2-inch nominal pipe size with socket weld ends and schedule 80 specifications, identified by NSN 4730-01-423-3593. The procurement includes strict material restrictions, prohibiting the use of Class I ozone depleting chemicals and the intentional addition of mercury. Quality assurance is governed by MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331 sampling plans, with a requirement for zero non-conformances in sample lots. Packaging must comply with ASTM D3951 and MIL-STD-129, while palletization must follow RP001 requirements.
