Cattle grazing will be used on the Tehama Wildlife Area for habitat improvement by altering the vegetation. This will encourage the growth of grass and forb species which are utilized by the wintering East Tehama deer herd for food and reduction of decadent plant material increasing the areas fire resiliency. The grazing period will be annually from January 15 to May 15.
