The purpose of this modification is to answer a bidder's question: Q. I was looking at the RFP and SOW for S5106A10R0004. I noticed it's a Nortel system that's being installed, so I know the type of system is already determined. My question is - how do you go about determining what type of system will be installed? Do you do thta via a bid process as well, or is the government exclusive with Nortel? A. We do not determine the equipment. On the SOW, we tell the requirement, CENTREX if available, POTs lines, PRI with equipment, and make your best offer to meet the requirement.
