This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested. Solicitation AG-52B1-S-14-0055 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), to provide trail maintenance services on the Tell City Ranger District, Hoosier National Forest. The work will be performed in Perry County, IN. The work consists of providing and placing INDOT #73 limestone aggregate, shaping the trail tread, out-sloping the tread, removing rippable rock, and re-establishing existing drain dips and installing a culvert. Work is anticipated to begin in Sept 2015. This acquisition is set-aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238910 and the size standard is $15mil. Work will be completed within 45 days. BASIS FOR AWARD: a single award will be made to the contractor based on best value to the government. Offerors shall provide both pricing and technical information.
