Full Description

The Broadcasting Broad of Governors (BBG) International Broadcasting Bureau (IBB) intends to issue a Indefinite Delivery Requirements contract to a Woman Owned Small Business Set-Aside Firm-Fixed Price for the contractor to provide all necessary labor, insurances, materials, transportation, and other items which may not be specifically addressed that are required for: (1) Specialized Technician Normal Duty Hours on any of 24/7 (3) three rotating shifts to support the operations and mission of the Transmitter Plant not to exceed 1500 hours annually. Services shall be provided, Monday through Sunday, including Federal holidays. (2) Specialized Technician Overtime duty to support the operations and Mission of the Transmitter Plant not to exceed 40 hours annually. Services to be performed at 3919 VOA Site B Road, Grimesland, NC as set forth in the statement of work dated October 6, 2010 that is attached. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes for this acquisition are the following three: (a) 811213 entitled "Communication Equipment Repair and Maintenance - $7.0, (b) 515112 - Radio Stations - $7.0 and (c) 561320- Temporary Help Services - $13.5 [Standards are in millions of dollars]. The period of performance on this Indefinite Delivery Requirements contract is 11/01/2010 - 10/31/2011. GTS is an active high frequency transmission site and work shall be performed without interfering with its' broadcast schedule.
