Copeland TempTrak™ Enterprise Temperature Monitoring Systems

This notice is issued solely for market research and planning purposes. No solicitation exists at this time, and responses are not offers that can be accepted by the Government to form a contract. The Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.


1. PURPOSE


The Federal Prison Camp Alderson (FPC ALD), Alderson, WV, is conducting market research to identify qualified vendors capable of supplying and installing Copeland TempTrak™ Enterprise remote temperature monitoring systems.


This requirement is BRAND‑NAME ONLY.  No substitutes or equivalent systems will be accepted.


Two separate and complete TempTrak systems are required:


  1. Health Services Department – Monitoring of medication refrigerators, freezers, and controlled storage areas.
  2. Food Service Department – Monitoring of perishable subsistence storage including refrigerators, freezers, walk‑ins, and other temperature‑controlled units.

All components must be new, delivered to FPC Alderson, and installed in accordance with BOP IT security requirements and Copeland OEM specifications.


2. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS


Vendors must be able to provide a complete, functional installation of the Copeland TempTrak™ Enterprise system, including:


Hardware & Sensors


  • Wireless temperature monitoring sensors (900 MHz)
  • Probes suitable for refrigeration, freezing, and ambient environments
  • Mounting hardware, wiring, and installation materials
  • Local displays (if applicable for medication areas)

Software & Network Requirements


  • TempTrak Enterprise server software or approved cloud‑based deployment
  • Secure, centralized data storage
  • Time‑stamped audit trails and reporting functions used for regulatory compliance (e.g., Joint Commission, CDC vaccine storage guidelines, HACCP applications)

Monitoring & Alerting
