The City of Campbell River invites tenders for the Erickson Road Renewal – Phase 1 project which includes the following generalized scope of work: Work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, all supervision, construction, equipment, labour, materials, permits and related items required for: the renewal of approximately 1,100m of PVC watermain and 800m of PVC storm sewer on Erickson Road between Larwood Creek and Nature Park Drive. In general terms, this work will involve the removal or abandonment of exiting pipework (including removal of asbestos concrete pipe), installation of new watermain, services, hydrants, valves, installation of new storm sewer, services and manholes and reinstatement of the affected asphalt roadway and surfaces.During the course of construction, the Contractor will be required to maintain vehicle traffic along the roads and affected intersections at all times and access to all properties located within the project limits.Also included is the requirement to coordinate the necessary permanent asphalt paving with the City’s paving contractor – Tayco Paving, which is delivered under separate contract, and the requirement to reinstate existing pavements markings after paving work is complete.A non-mandatory site meeting for Tenderers will take place on Tuesday January 13th, 2026, at 2:00pm.
