Synopsis of proposed contract action for TESCOM CORPORATION to provide four (4) high pressure water valves for the Multi-scale Rocket Engine (MRET) facility at the Air Force Research Laboratory (ARFL) at Edwards Air Force Base (EAFB), California. The TESCOM high pressure water valve has a 1 AN port, CV 10, working pressure of 6000 psi or higher, 316 SS, are re-buildable, and are fully compatible with VL rebuild components. The MRET is a new high-pressure, small scale rocket engine test facility that is being constructed. This system involves several flow systems including a 6,000 psi water cooling system. The system will utilize components from a currently operational system to reduce cost; current purchase will augment these prior components.
