Testek will provide comprehensive maintenance, repair, and engineering services for 58 specialized test stands at the Ogden Air Logistics Complex. The scope of work includes system integration, reconfiguration, modification, and the provision of necessary technical data and training to ensure the stands are fully functional for testing aircraft components. This contract addresses critical production gaps caused by previous short-term repair efforts and the deterioration of equipment supporting major weapon systems at Hill Air Force Base. Due to the proprietary nature of the source code, drawings, and manuals, Testek is identified as the sole source capable of performing these services. The government lacks the necessary intellectual property rights to perform these repairs organically or through other contractors without incurring unacceptable costs and delays associated with reverse engineering. This agreement ensures the operational readiness of workload-specific stands, preventing mission stoppages and enabling the integration of new workloads for platforms such as the F-22 and F-35.
