This is a Notice of Intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested. The National Institute of Health, Clinical Center (CC) intends to award a firm-fixed priced purchase order to Mira Vista Diagnostics, LLC, Indianapolis, IN 46241 on a sole source basis to procure laboratory testing services. The testing is needed for fungal serological diagnostic testing of patient samples. This testing is not currently offered in house by the DLM Microbiology Service due to the complexity of testing, therefore these test requests are outsourced to a vendor. These test methods are extremely sensitive to changes in testing processes which can affect patient test results. Therefore consistent testing through a single vendor is required for accurate trending of results and reproducibility. Contractor must provide test results via fax within 3-4 days of specimen receipt. Period of Performance shall be for a base year of twelve (12) months from date of award with two (2) one (1) year option period. The estimated product list is attached to this notice and titled - Attachment 1 - List of Tests 19-005244. The government reserves the right to increase quantities pursuant to FAR 52.217-6.
