OBJECTIVES OF THE REQUIREMENT
Fisheries and Oceans Canada has a requirement for garbage, recycling and organics collection at The Institute of Ocean Sciences Centre in Sidney, BC. The intention of this RFP is to contract with a contractor capable of supplying, maintaining, and regularly emptying designated containers for various waste streams at specified locations and frequencies, as well as providing roll-off containers for wood and industrial waste on an as-needed basis.
MANDATORY SITE VISIT
Mandatory site visit will be on December 10th, 2025 at 09:00 am local time. Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than December 8th, 2025 at 04:00 PM local time to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend.
PERIOD OF CONTRACT:
The period of contract shall be from Contract award to March 31, 2028. The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to three (3) additional one (1) year period under the same conditions.
