The Hattiesburg Public School District will receive UNPRICED BID QUALIFICATION SPECIFICATIONS until Friday, June 5, 2026, 1:00 pm (CST) for the purpose of participating in an Electronic Reverse Auction for the following: 2026 CAFETERIA DINING AREA FUR

The Hattiesburg Public School District is soliciting bids through an Electronic Reverse Auction for the procurement and installation of cafeteria dining area furniture to be completed no later than December 31, 2026. Bids must be submitted electronically via www.centralauctionhouse.com, with pre-qualification requirements needing to be met by June 5, 2026, to gain access to the auction slated for June 12, 2026. The solicitation covers specific items including mobile folding booths, mobile ocean wave tables with attached stools, ergonomic chairs, 48-inch diameter tables, mobile tilt tables, and conversation tables, all with detailed material specifications for finishes, dimensions, and hardware. Installation services are mandatory and must include site visits to verify measurements, removal of existing furniture, turn-key installation, start-up and operational checks, and factory demonstrations at each cafeteria location. All bids must be firm, include all taxes, exclude escalator clauses, and be net of transportation and handling charges prepaid by the vendor to the district in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Suppliers must be licensed to do business in Mississippi and must meet stringent insurance requirements, including $1,000,000 combined single limit for general and auto liability, statutory workers’ compensation with waiver of subrogation in favor of the district, and $1,000,000 employers’ liability per accident with additional policy limits for disease coverage. The district must be named as an additional insured on all liability policies, and fidelity bonds of at least $5,000 per individual and $25,000 per occurrence are required for all contractor employees. Proposals must be signed by a company officer and include vendor forms, conditions/specifications, data sheets, and references, with pricing consistency required across all submitted documents. The award will be determined based on the lowest and best bid, as determined solely by the district, considering price, contractor experience, references, and equipment quality. All awards are subject to approval by the Hattiesburg Public Schools Board of Trustees and final examination by district personnel. Invoices, submitted in triplicate only after full installation, testing, and completion of training, are subject to no partial payments.
