AI Contract Overview
The Maritime Academy of Toledo is seeking bids for two categories of services over a 12-month term. Category 1 requests symmetrical internet access ranging from 1 to 5 gigabits, with a preference for fiber optics and locally operated providers capable of immediate upgrades. Bids must include all installation, configuration, and technical support costs, as well as a service level agreement. Bidders are required to separate non-recurring and monthly recurring costs, including all taxes and fees, and must provide contract documentation that allows for in-place bandwidth upgrades. Category 2 involves the maintenance of a single Fortigate 201F appliance hardware firewall. This agreement covers bug fixes, security patches, and technical support, while basic maintenance will be paid based on actual work performed rather than insurance policies. All communication and bid submissions must be handled exclusively via email. The academy prefers service provider invoicing and notes that all contracts are contingent upon the awarding of funding.
