PURPOSE: The Army Medical Modeling and Simulation Industry Day is a focused opportunity for vendors in the medical modeling and simulation community to convey their capabilities to the Government medical simulation community of interest and for Government to convey organizational description and interests, needs, alignment and future expectations to the industry community of interest. The Government is seeking vendors who have the capability to demonstrate Medical Modeling, Medical Training Aids, Medical Simulators and Medical Simulations in areas including but not limited to: - Standardized Patients - Medical Gaming - Interactive Multi-media instruction - Prolonged Field Care training - Clinical/Trauma Manikins - Canine simulators - Obstetrical , Pediatric, Orthopedics Simulations - Moulage Capabilities - Human Worn Surgical Cut Suit The intent of this day is two phased. The first phase in the morning is for medical representatives from the Army Medical Department (AMEDD) Center and School including the Directorate of Simulation and Capabilities Development Integration Directorate (CDID), Army Futures Command, Assistant Secretary of the Army, Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology (ASA/ALT) and Defense Health Agency's Joint Project Manager Medical Modeling and Simulation (JPM MMS) to provide information briefs in a classroom setting. The second phase in the afternoon is for vendors to provide demonstrations and hands on displays of their capabilities to the Government briefers. Space is limited, therefore a pre-selection of vendors may be necessary. Vendors will submit their intended display and information brief outline via form to follow. Government will review submissions, and in the event of more applicants than space, will decide which displays and vendors. Emphasis is on existing medical modeling and simulation capability, but conceptual products or services may also be demonstrated as long as they are post Research and Development phase. To ensure sufficient and equal interface with Government, vendors will be set up, and the Government will rotate to each vendor in equal time increments. Government will notify all vendors of the interface period length ahead of the day.
