The National Research Council of Canada (NRC), Saguenay site, wishes to acquire up to three cyclic corrosion chambers. NRC's research and development endeavors focus on advancing environmental sustainability for the aluminum processing and surface technologies sector. This involves conducting accelerated environmental tests, according to established standards, particularly those prevalent in the automotive industry. These tests will encompass a wide range of materials and assemblies, including welded or joined components using structural adhesives. These tests must simulate diverse cyclic conditions, including exposure to salt fog or spray, saturated humidity and controlled temperature conditions. The project's scope includes the procurement of cyclic corrosion chambers, along with all necessary accessories meeting specified technical requirements, delivery, documentation and training.
