THUMS (C-240) Well Rework Program at Island Chaffee

THUMS Long Beach Co. is undertaking a rework program for the C-240 existing producer well, identified by API number 0423729974, located offshore on Island Chaffee within the Wilmington field in Los Angeles, California. The project is authorized under CalGEM permit 7056987 and is designed to address well integrity issues. The technical scope of work involves plugging back the existing completion, perforating a new section of the well, installing and gravel packing a new 3-1/2 inch screen, and running an Electric Submersible Pump to return the well to production.
