The Tissue Processor Standardization Effort is a collaborative initiative between the Defense Health Agency, Medical Logistics, the Medical Materiel Enterprise Standardization Office, and the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Medical Electronic Catalog Program. The primary objective is to standardize the procurement of Tissue Processors for Military Treatment Facilities and operational assemblages across the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Naval Expeditionary Medical Support Command. This effort is managed regionally by various MMESOs, with MMESO North serving as the lead entity for the project. To facilitate this standardization and ensure compliance with QSL FBO #MN-1509-52, the government is establishing a new ECAT contract specifically for the selected standardized part number. This new contract number is being created for internal administrative auditing purposes to isolate the Tissue Processor item. The procurement process was managed under solicitation RFQ-TP, with coordination handled by the Defense Logistics Agency.
