AI Contract Overview
Solicitation SPE8E8-27-T-0357, issued by DLA Troop Support Construction and Equipment, is for the procurement of 21 marine toilets under NSN 4510-01-560-8927. This HUBZone set-aside acquisition requires delivery to the DDSP New Cumberland Facility within 167 days after order. Offerors must provide a complete data package for both approved and alternate parts for technical evaluation, and the HUBZone price evaluation preference will be applied unless waived. Strict packaging and material standards are mandated, specifically for vitreous china items, which require double-wall corrugated fiberboard boxes with four-inch thick polyurethane or polystyrene foam corner pads and fragile glass marking. The contract prohibits the intentional addition of mercury, except for specific functional exceptions. Compliance with MIL-STD-2073-1E for packaging and MIL-STD-129 for marking is required.
