The Defense Health Agency and Defense Logistics Agency intend to establish a Qualified Supplier List for sterile operating room towels. This pre-solicitation notice informs potential vendors that a formal Sources Sought notification is expected around June 12, 2019. The required products must be colorfast, 100 percent cotton, pre-washed, and low-lint, available in blue, green, or white with or without radiopaque filaments. All items must be latex-free and comply with the Berry Amendment and Trade Agreements Act. To be eligible for the list, vendors must maintain an active registration in the System for Award Management and possess a Commercial and Government Entity code. Participation requires a Distribution and Pricing Agreement and separate commercial agreements with current prime vendors, such as Cardinal Health and Owens & Minor. This initiative serves as the foundation for a future Standardization Action and Incentive Agreement. Currently, this notice is for informational purposes only, and the government is not accepting proposals or inquiries at this time.
